Our commitment is to provide you with the best possible service, and we have created this form to ensure your reservation request can be completed as quickly as possible. Depending on your reservation request it may take a few business days to complete your reservation. If you do not hear from us within 2 business days, or if you do not receive an automatic email confirming receipt of your reservation today, please contact us as we may not have received your information, sometimes our internet is slow, given our remote location! Rates & Payment:
Rates are per person per night and include lodging, meals and all on ranch activities.
Our rates for adults vary depending on the accommodations. There are special rates for children, with no charge for kids under 4, and reduced charges for kids age 11 and under. Please check on the “Rates” chart to see current rates.
We offer discounts for groups of 10 or more and all return guests receive a discount off the current rates.
A 50% deposit is required within seven (7) business days of booking. If the deposit is not received in that time frame, the reservation will be cancelled. The balance is due at the time of check in on the day of your arrival.
Reservations made within 14 days of arrival require full, immediate payment upon booking. This payment is non-refundable.
Any prices quoted on this website are in US Dollars. We also accept $GY Dollars at the current official exchange rate. Payment may be made at our Georgetown office in the form of either currency.
Extras and Specials:
Please discuss availability and dates with us. Please be aware that cattle work depends on weather, grass and cattle health, so locations and length of cattle moves will vary depending on these concerns.
Day trips out to nearby local communities can also be arranged for guests who are at the ranch for a few days.

Booking and Deposits:
Please give us a call or email to make reservations. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit, with the balance due on the day of your arrival at the ranch. We accept wired funds, Guyana, US, Canadian dollar or the pound Sterling at the rate of the day.
Cancellations & Cancellation Conditions
Made a reservation and now you can’t keep it? Things happen – sometimes you can’t get away when you thought. We’ll try to make it as easy as possible for you. Our Cancellation Policy is:
- Cancellations:
- 60 days before arrival date are subject to a 5% cancellation fee.
- 30 days before arrival date are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
- Less than 30 days before arrival date are subject to a 50 % cancellation fee.
- There is no refund for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival.
- Cancellation fees are calculated on the rate per person and on the total value of the full stay.
- Cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by the Rupununi Development Company Ltd. The date of receipt of the missive will be the date used as notice given.
- Please note: the cancellation policy also applies to reservations booked with Gift Certificates.
- ”No Shows” and unscheduled early departures are subject to full payment for all nights reserved.
- There will be no credits for early departures, or for unused portions of our all-inclusive packages.
- Since our reservation and cancellation policies must be more restrictive than a large hotel, we recommend you consider traveler’s insurance to protect your vacation. A cancellation is very disappointing to both the guests who have decided to cancel and the owners of The Rupununi Development Company. In most instances, we will have turned away other guests who would have reserved for your dates.
- All requests for reservations are to be made by the Guest by way of e-mail, letter, fax to the Rupununi Development Company.
- Reservations will be deemed confirmed at the point of receiving the down payment and acknowledging same by the Rupununi Development Company using the same medium of communication whereby the request was made.
- Provisional reservations will be held for 7 days, if a deposit is not made to confirm the reservation within this time, the booking will be automatically released.
Transfer of Bookings – In the event you are unable to come due to unexpected circumstances, you may transfer your booking to another person provided the arrangements remain the same.
Travel Insurance: You are advised to buy travel insurance through your agent before coming to Guyana.
Transportation and Off Ranch Activities
Transportation to and from the ranch from the airport can be provide by the ranch with an advanced notice.
Off ranch activities (such as: adventure river trips, visits to neighbouring communities, water rafting etc.) are not included in package rates but can be arranged for you by the ranch with advanced notice. Transportation to and from off ranch activities is not included in activity rates.
Release Agreement
The Dadanawa Ranch guests are required to sign a release agreement at the time of check-in. This is mandatory and guests cannot remain on, nor enjoy the premises without signing the release agreement. Please feel free to read the release agreement prior to your arrival: please download the form here.
Parents or legal guardians of minor children are required to sign the release agreement on their children’s behalf.
